I have always wanted to
visit India. It looks like an interested country to visit. I am very
curious about their culture and specially their religions. It seems that
everyone believes in a different God, there are so many of them.
India is the birthplace
of four of the world's major religions; namely Hinduism, Buddhism,
Jainism and Sikhism. Throughout India's history, religion has been an
important part of the country's culture. Religious diversity and
religious tolerance are both established in the country by the law and
custom.
The Taj Mahal, this
white marvel mausoleum, located in Agra, it appears to be a very
interesting place to visit too. This was built in 1632 by Mughal emperor
Shah Jahan in memory of his third wife, Mumtaz Mahal, who died in the
birth of their 14th child. Today is recognized as the jewel of Musilm
art in India and one of the universally admired masterpieces of the
world's heritage.
I would love to visit
Delhi, the capital and walk around to see its beautiful buildings. Also,
go around the places where Gandhi, the leader of India's independence
movement organized a boycott against British institutions in a peaceful
form of civil disobedience.
India has many, many
interesting things, history, and places that you may need a lot of time
to visit all. Maybe one day I visit this country.
